Sweet praying moment

The other night, I was tucking Maddy into bed by rubbing her back and saying a little night-night prayer. I started off saying, "Thank you Jesus for Maddy and her health"...she interrupted saying "mommy, daddy, jayden, night-night and baby." She prayed for all of us and her 2 favorites, her night-night and her babies. SOOO SWEET!!! My heart stopped and melted right there.
THANK YOU JESUS!

lil Jumpers!

I have been blessed with an amazing opportunity coaching long and triple jump at Boulder Creek High School. And thankfully, I have an amazing support of helping hands to watch kids certain days of the week. Ever since the kids know that I coach the jumps, they are always jumping up and down and out...I must say that I am impressed with both of their jumping skills, too cute to see them act like lil jumpers! :)

Time Out suprise

The other day, I was in the kitchen and heard some sort of squawk going on between the two. Of course, perfect timing to looking around the corner, I see Jayden take a toy from Maddy and Maddy quickly hitting Jayden for doing so. Sigh...I explain to Jayden that we don't take toys out of our friends hands like that and explain to Maddy that we don't hit, while walking them to their rooms for timeout. After I put Maddy in her crib and Jayden in his room for time out, I looked back in Maddy's room and she was climbing out of her crib! Of course, knowing me, I race to get my camera on my phone and take a quick pic! 2 timeouts for her that day and both times she climbed out of her crib....I think I see big girl bed on the horizon!

American Idol

Ben and I DVR our shows and watch together once the kids are asleep. It never fails, every Wednesday night, 5 minutes into watching American Idol, sweetpea Jayden gets out of bed and ask- "May I please watch music with you guys?"...we always say yes because he truly loves watching it and has opinion on what singer is good and bad.
I am hopeful that he will be musically talented one day considering he LOVES any musical show and LOVES his rockstar pj's and LOVES any of his rockstar shirts. Who knows?! :)
