Happy 6years to Us!

We were able to spend the afternoon and evening together to celebrate our 6 year anniversary! The kids went to Gramma's for the night while we played 9 holes of golf at Ben's work- The Estancia Club followed by a yummy dinner at Cartwrights in Cave Creek. Golfing with Ben was so much fun and so relaxing. The scenery was stunning and peaceful. I felt so blessed to be with my better half doing something that we used to do all the time together (pre-kids)...golf! We made a vow to renew our favorite pastime thing together- golf, a regular thing.

survival swim lessons

We have been with this program- Living Water Saves since the summer of 2010, this is our 3rd season. Jayden is a strong swimmer because of this program and felt that it was just as important to put Maddy through it, especially since we are surrounded by pools in Anthem! We go to the community center pool very regularly and this program gives us complete peace of mind that if Jayden or Maddy were to fall in any pool, they could save themselves.

Day one!

She left in complete shock, not happy and actually fell asleep on the way home!

I am so proud of Maddy's determination and fight to swim! I praise God that Jayden is such a great example to follow for her to want to SWIM this badly! This first video really surprised me, actually was a little nervous for her...but with Jesus' strength, she came through...that's our girl!

Thank you http://www.livingwatersaves.org/ for teaching our children to respect the water and to SWIM! They have an incredible program, very intense, a lot of tears for your child, but the results are AMAZING...and they are super sweet Christians!

Boys went camping

Ben promised Jayden that as soon as work slowed down that they would go camping together. The morning of Ben's last day of work, I was praying for a smooth last day and praising God for that in our breakfast prayer. Jayden exclaimed with complete joy, 'daddy and me get to go camping now!' I quickly text'ed Ben that camping needed to happen that weekend because Jayden was too excited. :)

I am so happy that the boys enjoyed their time together. Maddy and me had a quiet weekend, did some birthday party shopping, did bubbles and sandbox in the backyard, walked to the park and fed the ducks, and went to church! We sure did miss the boys and the noise! :)

 

June is a big month of celebrations!

So many celebrations in June to be thankful for! Our 6yr anniversary, 7 + family birthdays, and Father's day for 4 dads and many friend's birthdays and anniversaries/wedding- whew! All sweet blessings! ♥
-First week/weekend of June- boys camping, celebrate good friend's medical graduation, family in town
-Second week/weekend- Survival swim lessons for Maddy, my Grandma's birthday, Maddy's b-day party, Father in law's birthday and our anniversary, Brother's birthday, Arizona Open golf tourney for Ben, Niece's birthday
-Third week/weekend- Maddy's birthday, Brother's girlfriend's birthday, Wedding in Seattle, Father's day for 4 dads,Visiting Seattle, Dad's birthday, my birthday
-Fourth week/weekend- another golf tourney for Ben, dinners with friends
